Landscape Alaska is primarily a creative outlet for two artists in the landscape. Margaret Tharp and David Lendrum love to work in the real world — Margaret’s designs are the guiding lights and she and her cast of contractors have transformed the local planted world.
For more than twenty-five years we have built, rebuilt, repaired, and maintained some of the iconic landscapes of our region. Public spaces, private gardens, and commercial locales can all be instantly identified as our work. Attention to sustainability and a commitment to low-maintenance design are two hallmarks of our designs, along with the use of plants that thrive in our locale and the placement of stone that looks as though it were always on site.
