Time-release Fertilizer Packets
This innovative fertilizer delivery system was developed by the Canadians for reforestation in cold, wet, infertile soils. We have used them for ten years and can wholeheartedly endorse them. The packets last for two growing seasons and provide the nutrients and minerals that a plant needs to get a good start. We use them in everything we plant.
Apply the fertilizer according to the size of the plant; for example, add one packet to a plant in a 1-gallon pot, add five packets to a plant in a 5-gallon pot, and so on. Place the fertilizer packets one inch below the soil surface.
